President

Meet Gina Wasdyke, the Founder of HomeCA, dedicated to addressing homelessness in California. Gina also has over 16 years of experience operating licensed adult residential facilities, dedicated to serving person centered care to individuals with developmental disabilities. Previously, Gina served as an Investment Officer for the City of Sacramento, helping manage $1.3 Billion in public funds. Her prudent investment decisions, including short-term investment securities, benefited the City of Sacramento during her tenure. Additionally, she oversaw the city's cashflow, ensuring financial obligations were met. Before her role as an Investment Officer, Gina excelled as a Senior Management Analyst, overseeing critical and confidential projects for the City. Gina is also a seasoned real estate investor with a keen eye for identifying undervalued properties, a venture she started over 24 years. In 2014, her dedication led her to establish 6Beds Inc, a 501c6 lobbying non profit which is now the largest association of ARFs and RCFEs in California. Through this organization, Gina passionately advocates for individuals with special needs, championing their right to thrive in the least restrictive environment. Gina is academically accomplished, holding a Bachelor's Degree in Economics and initially pursuing two years in JD Law before transitioning to pursue a master's degree in business. She achieved her MBA at Golden Gate University in San Francisco at the young age of 22, setting the stage for her successful journey in the business world.

Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Bachelor of Arts in Psychology in Dominican University in San Rafael, Ca. Holds certificates as an administrator for RCFE and ARF facilities and has volunteered as a crisis counselor for MAWS (Marin county Abused Women Services) and as a hotline crisis counselor for Suicide Prevention. She has worked as a nurse in locked psychiatric facilities, a group home residential counselor in various group homes in the bay area as well as an administrator at Residential Care Facilities. She believes in the patient centered approach and that listening is a key skill in compassionate care.

Angeline Torres holds a bachelor’s degree in Nursing and is a Registered Nurse of the State of California since 2008. She has worked as a Registered Nurse in a Skilled Nursing Facility for 8 years and another 4 years in Specialized Adult Residential Facility serving clients with developmental disabilities with medical and behavioral challenges. She was a nursing college professor for 4 years. Angeline has also completed the Adult Residential Facility Administrator Certificate Program.

Doree Ann Espiritu, MD Dr. Espiritu is the Medical Director of the Behavioral Health Services Outpatient Division and the Service Chief of Psychiatry of the Henry Ford West Bloomfield Hospital. She co-led the spread of the Behavioral Health Integration with Primary Care (BHI) initiative which is now at 32 clinics across the Henry Ford Health System. She is board certified in both Adult and Geriatric Psychiatry. In addition to her administrative role, she maintains an active practice seeing adult and geriatric patients in the outpatient setting, Consultation Liaison and serves as the Psychiatric Consultant for the Behavioral Health Integration. Dr. Espiritu finished her psychiatry residency in Adult Psychiatry at the Henry Ford Health System and then went on to do a fellowship in Geriatric Psychiatry at Wayne State University. She was trained by the founders of Perfect Depression Care/Zero Suicide (Blues-Busters team) and has been a staunch advocate for suicide prevention. She has received numerous awards including the Henry Ford Health System Shadow of the Leader, the Dr. Joseph Ponlrn Caring Physician of the Year and has been a consistent Hour Detroit Magazine "Top Doc" in Psychiatry from 2009-2020. Dr. Espiritu's special interests are issues in Geriatric Psychiatry, Dementia, Successful Aging, Behavioral Health Integration In Primary Care, Non-Motor Symptoms of Parkinson 's, and Spirituality in Psychiatry. Dr. Espiritu has also been the champion for virtual care and digital mental health.
